DIMENSION: When choosing the appropriate ring height, refer to the following recommendations (based on a 50mm Objective lens contacting the barrel/AR forends):

Rem 700 footprints = low rings (0.92") (up to 40 MOA scope rail) Ruger RPR = medium rings (1.26%) Ruger American = low rings (0.92%) Savage 110 = low rings (0.92%) Tikka = low rings (0.92%) Sako = low rings (0.92%) AR Platform = ARP Rigid Mount (1.50") or medium rings (1.26")

For the new EP5 with the 56mm objective, the recommendation is medium rings (1.26") with bull barrels and 20 MOA rails. This will be the case for most platforms, except for those with AR-style shrouds, where a scope rings height calculator should be used.

The Arken Optics Halo Series billet precision scope rings are CNC machined from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, with ZERO tolerances for errors in any conditions. These rings are machined in pairs for ultimate accuracy and consistency. Torx-style socket screws, along with enhanced recoil lugs, result in amazing stability and secure mounting. A hex wrench is included.

Arken Optics recommends a maximum torque setting of 18 in/lb for ring screws and 30 in/lbs for base screws. The optic manufacturer's specification shall always supersede Arken's Halo Rings specification, unless higher.

The Halo scope rings are available in 30mm or 34mm diameter and are designed to work with Picatinny-spec mounts, not Weaver mounts. These rings are serialized, vibratory tumbled, hand-bead blasted, and finished with a Type III hard coat anodize for added protection against scratches and blemishing.
